Description
This work was created as a fanfare-like tribute to the great antiphonal music composed by Claudio Monteverdi and Giovanni Gabrielli for the cathedral of San Marco in Venice. The two brass choirs should be arranged on either side of the performance space as far apart as possible to enhance the spatial effect of the antiphonal scoring.
